[Update 13 Feb 2024] New images of the Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS GEL-QUANTUM Zientzia have emerged, courtesy of @le.syndrome. Unveiling an additional black colorway, the collection is reported to arrive in April 2024 via kikokostadinov.com, and the Kiko Kostadinov Tokyo store.

It looks like ASICS and Kiko Kostadinov have more up their sleeves, with the appearance of a new ASICS GEL-QUANTUM Zientzia colorway.

The ongoing collaboration between Kiko Kostadinov and ASICS has yielded a number of hit releases—most notably the Kiko Kostadinov x HYSTERIC GLAMOUR x ASICS GEL-QUANTUM Lylia, their threeway team-up with HYSTERIC GLAMOUR, and its follow-up ASICS GEL-QUANTUM Zientzia.

While the first GEL-QUANTUM Zientzia, designed in partnership with the ASICS Institute of Sport Science (ISS), sports the colors of the Japan-based research lab blue and black, the recently-surfaced colorway goes for a more lifestyle palette of white, navy and orange-yellow.

In the leaked pictures, white predominantly dresses the ASICS GEL-QUANTUM Zientzia, with touches of navy appearing on the ASICS tiger stripe, lacing system and toe area. The now-iconic scutoid-shaped GEL outsole dons a brighter orange shade. The overall color theme seems to have taken a leaf from the ASICS Sky Elite FF2 volleyball shoe model.

Fans of ASICS and Kiko Kostadinov will likely have to wait till spring 2024 for the shoe to drop. Meanwhile, the partners have previously previewed a range of styles similarly slated for Spring/Summer 2024, including a new GEL-Terrain silhouette.
