Despite rumors of the Nike Air Jordan 4 Thunder’s retro release, fans were treated to a remixed version instead—the Air Jordan 4 “Red Thunder” where the classic Tour Yellow color was replaced by a Crimson Red shade.
But it looks like all’s going to change soon. Sources have reported that the Nike Air Jordan 4 “Thunder” will officially be making a comeback in Summer 2023.
Sneaker account @jfgrails confirmed the good news on an Instagram post alluding that the 2023 AJ4 Thunder will retain most of the original design and look, but will arrive with “updated OG specs and nubuck uppers”.
