Originally inspired by the warm beaches of Florida, Sean McDowell’s 1998 design has since broaden its universe with eponymous textures as part of the brand’s ongoing effort to expand upon its already illustrious lineup of products. It is being brought to light as seen on the most recent Nike Air Max Plus.

The entire mesh upper is covered in a teal, violet, and black colored spirograph pattern that cascades across the entire of the knit structure, giving off an uncanny resemblance to the cosmos. The glossy Swooshes, tongue tag, and gradient-shaded midfoot shank all further highlight the teal and violet color scheme, with the lighter shade accenting as a trim.

For balance and contrast, the tongue, laces, midsole, and leather overlays, are mostly covered in black, with traces of magenta visible in the tread underfoot. The outsole has a subtle touch of splattered white paint sparsely scattered across that coincides stars in space. In addition, the Nike Air tag is seen in the middle, in warm orange and white, seemingly look like the sun.

Darkness and night skies won’t take long for the release to be announced as it’s predicted to launch in 2022 so stay tuned on further deets.

In other Nike-related offerings, Nike WMNS Air Jordan 5 Low “Expression” is adopting a style of abstract art from the 20th century.
