The 2024 Summer Olympics is nigh, and having won gold in the inaugural skateboarding event in the Tokyo Games in 2021, Yuto Horigome is more than likely to qualify for this year’s games in Paris. Soon after one career milestone however, came another: the debut of his signature Nike SB Dunk Low, which inevitably became one of 2023’s most successful releases.

Like most successes, a sequel has been in order. Dubbed the “Asparagus”, this followup features Horigome’s signature cross-feather logo on the lateral heel. The upper boasts a mix of green and brown tones across a premium suede and leather construction.

Green accents adorn the Swooshes with a co-branded tongue tag imprinted with Nike SB and Horigome’s name. Imbedding a regal touch akin to his gold Olympic medal, is the “NIKE” embroidery on the heel.

While neither Horigome nor Nike SB have officially confirmed the release of the “Asparagus” SB Dunk Low, rumors suggest a release sometime next year with an RRP of US$130. Stay tuned!
