LINEWe’re days away from this year’s edition of Air Max Day, and boy is it exciting. We’ve already seen a flurry of Nike Air Max 1 releases leading up to the annual Swoosh holiday, with entries such as the Air Max 1 Crepe “Soft Grey” and the Air Max 1 “Baltic Blue” dropping ahead of 26 March.

Of course, the aforementioned Air Max 1s are just a teaser of the biggest one of them all—the return of the Nike Air Max 1 OG “Big Bubble” in its original red-and-white glory. But before most can even get their hands on them, it seems like Nike is already preparing for the next iteration of the “Big Bubble” series.

According to Stevey Ryder, one of Nike’s Masters of Air, the brand looks set to turn the color wheel on the “Big Bubble”. Taking to his Instagram, Ryder provided an early look at a possible “Royal Blue” makeover for the Air Max 1 OG Big Bubble. For the most part, it does look like it carries the same details as its red counterpart.

There’s not a lot of other news out there at the moment, but there will be no doubt Air Max fans will be happy about this one. Take a closer look at the Nike Air Max 1 OG Big Bubble “Royal Blue” via the top slider above, and stay tuned as we’ll bring you the latest information as soon as we can.
