The Nike Air Jordan 1 Low 85 “Metallic Blue” Projected for Spring 2024

Still as popular in 2023, as it were in 1985. And will still be next year.

[Update 8 Jan 2024] The Nike Air Jordan 1 Low 85 “Metallic Blue” is set to see a release! The pair will arrive via END. Launches on 12 January with a retail price tag of US$175. Join the raffle draw and check out the latest product shots of the pair via the gallery above now.

The acclaimed Metallic Series of the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low is being summoned to the fore again after its restoration to near-identical ’85 specs during All-Star Weekend in 2020. Rumor has it that a “Metallic Burgundy” colorway will also be offered as an alternate.

Nike’s mid-80s design cues give the third release and second retro treatment of the pair a flat-leather, “Summit White” upper. Its Navy Blue profile Swooshes sees a metallic sheen that extends all the way to the heel tab. The midsole unit is accompanied with a complementary Off-White hue, while the nylon lining, tongue tab, and tread underfoot comes finished with a dark blue.

They’re expected to be released in the spring of 2024. Information is scant at the time of writing but more details should emerge sporadically over the coming months. Stay tuned!
