COMME des GARÇONS Reveals Nike ACG Collab for SS24
Offering their take on the Mountain Fly 2 Low model.
As fashion brands take their turns to present their latest SS24 collection during Paris Fashion Week, Rei Kawakubo’s COMME des GARÇONS caught the attention of many with the reveal of an upcoming collaboration with Nike ACG.
Taking on the form of the Mountain Fly 2 Low silhouette, the collaborative pairs made their appearance at the HOMME PLUS sub-label runway show. Dressed in three monochromatic variations, the design feature a breathable mesh and textile upper, equipped with an extended crag-ready traction outsole.
Branding comes minimal as ‘ACG’ side profiles were removed for a clean look, leaving only the pull tabs and toe cap imprints as a proof of its urban identity. A mini Swoosh then takes its spot on the side rear for a subtle touch on details.
No release details have been disclosed for the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike ACG Mountain Fly 2 Low collection yet, but we can certainly expect more to be revealed prior to the Japanese label’s SS24 drop. Until then, we will keep you updated here.
