Capitalizing on the immense popularity of Eevee and its eight evolutions, Creatures Inc. released the Eevee Heroes [S6a] Pokémon TCG expansion set in 2021. Recently, one particular card from this set has experienced a significant price spike: the Jolteon V card of Super Rare (SR) rarity.

The card’s Full Art illustration features Jolteon V mid-leap with a brightly-lit urban setting in the background—a perfect match for an Electric-type Pokémon. The depiction of Jolteon V in motion adds additional depth to the image while also alluding to its blistering speed.

Cards of high rarity levels that feature Eeveelutions are typically among the highest-value and most coveted of their respective sets; this Jolteon V card is no different in this regard.

Additionally, its value might be peaking because of its “E” regulation mark. Cards with that mark have now been rotated out of official Pokémon TCG gameplay and are thus less likely to ever be reprinted or reissued.

This card’s English version is among the SWSH Black Star Promos; its number in that collection is SWSH183.

The retail price of a Jolteon V (Eevee Heroes [S6a] 079/069) card of SR rarity is 17,700 JPY (~US$117).
