Designs always takes a step from the screen to prototypes before hitting the shelves. While changes are usually made to reach the final stages, early stages of design offers an unfinished aesthetics which proves to have a fanbase of its own. And Shanghai based label STAFFONLY has something in stall for the fans of the futuristic yet stripped down look.

Partnering up with sports label Puma, the duo offers the latter’s PWRFRAME OP-1 silhouette in an unconventional and avant-garde fashion through three distinct colorways. Keeping the TPU mesh and textile with radical heel detailing, the CMEVA midsoles are equipped with unique heel-to-feet PWRFRAME technology.

First on the lineup is the “X-RAY” colorway which features a milky white semi-translucent body that resembles the finish of a 3D printed shoe. “METAL FUZZ” on the other hand, adds a futuristic look with its shine through metallic silver accents found on the grey uppers which are contrasted to black outsoles. Lastly, “WIREFRAME” features 3D grid panels that looks like it came out from a on-screen design layout, creating a fuzzy look to the sneaker.

Set for a release on 3rd December, the STAFFONLY x Puma PWRFRAME OP-1 pack will be made available for purchase via Puma.
