These Nike Dunks Go High and Low in “Mineral Slate and Armory Navy”
The Highs and Lows are similar but never the same. Such are the titular pairs.
The Nike Dunk Low is arguably the most ubiquitous model right now, with the monochromatic “Panda” colorway at the vanguard. But it’s other iterations aren’t too far behind either, with some even in the running ahead of Swoosh staples like the Air Force 1 and the Jordans.
It’s a versatile silhouette able to traverse across different subcultures, thus, fashion styles. Consider it a safe choice, and that safety sometimes emboldens its maker to try on a variance of interesting color palettes. Introducing: the “Mineral Slate and Armory Navy”. The colorway’s applied not only to the Lows but also to its taller older brother in the Highs.
The design cues are essentially the same on the siblings of Dunks. Mineral Slate, the base layer with Armory Navy as the overlays on the Lows, and the entire scheme a complete alternate on the Highs. Nevertheless, siblings can be similar but they’re never the same. Their differences are minor but a discerning eye can set them apart. For one, the construction of their overlays. Leather is built on the Lows with suede on its counterpart. Supporting both uppers is the standard white on black sole unit.
Both pairs will be available on SNKRS from 7 December with a RRP of US$110 for the Lows and US$120 for the Highs.
