The next Pokémon TCG rotation is certain to bring significant changes to the metagame. New cards will rise to prominence just as others lose their status as leading cards in the current gameplay environment. One card which is widely tipped to play a key role in the coming meta is the Miraidon card from Cyber Judge [SV5M].

Fittingly for a card that depicts a motorcycle lizard, Miraidon is the main source of this deck’s rapid tempo. Its aptly-named Peak Acceleration attack attaches Energy cards to the deck’s other Future Pokémon, priming them for combat before the opponent can even get set up.

What’s more, Miraidon is no slouch when attacking instead of playmaking. Sparking Strike deals 160 damage for three Energy cards—and this can easily be facilitated through Peak Acceleration because Miraidon is itself a Future Pokémon.

The card’s illustration depicts Pokémon Violet’s box Legendary surrounded by crackling electricity. The overwhelming power of Miraidon’s electrical might is clearly conveyed and further brought out by the side-profile image that focuses on its outstretched limbs.

This card’s English version is found in the Temporal Forces [TEF] set as card 121/162.
