Not too long ago, rumors began swirling that the Nike Air Jordan 8 “Playoffs” was set to make its first return in over 10 years. While sneakerheads are no doubt excited about its return, it seems Jordan Brand themselves are leaning into the whispers, especially with the release of this Jordan Hydro 8 Slide.

This latest summer footwear iteration sees the Hydro 8 Slide themed very closely to the aforementioned AJ8 “Playoffs”. Black nubuck wraps around most of the slide. A circular chenille Jordan patch rests atop the strap, similar to its AJ8 big brother. A playful graphic print adorns the inside of the strap, which immediately gives off vibes of the AJ8 “Playoffs” lining.
