[Update 5 Jul 2023] It seems like we are getting not two, but three pairs of ASICS GT-2160. Revealing another “Illusion Blue” addition, it will be arriving alongside the “Pure Silver” and “Shamrock Green” duo. Coming off other retro-esque silver shoes this year, ASICS has found a knack this year for creating vintage-looking sneakers such as the JJJJound x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 and the KITH x ASICS Collection. While there’s no collaborator this time around, the brand presents two brand-new colorways for the GT-2160.

Shortly after being introduced together with Dime during Paris Fashion Week, the Japanese shoemakers are now looking to expand the GT-2160’s inline arsenal with “White/Shamrock Green” and “White/Pure Silver” colorways.

Both arrive in a clean white mesh base, with metallic silver and black adorning the sneaker’s overlays. The former sports yellow accents all across the sneaker, while the latter utilizes its titular green shade. They’re simple yet eye-catchingly trendy.

Both ASICS GT-2160 “White/Pure Silver” and “White/Shamrock Green” are slated to drop on ASICS Europe and select retailers starting from 8 July, at a MSRP of 129.95 EUR (~US$141). A wider release is expected shortly after, so stay tuned for more information.
