One of the two new card archetypes introduced in Doom of Dimensions, the newest Yu-Gi-Oh TCG Core Booster, is Magnifistorming Crothea. Among the cards of that archetype, the pick of the bunch is the Prismatic Secret Rare version of Magnifistorming Crothea.

About Magnifistorming Crothea (Doom of Dimensions DOOD-JP015)

Magnifistorming Crothea is a card directly linked to Mystical Space Typhoon, one of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG’s oldest cards which has received many reprints over the years. By playing Magnifistorming Crothea, the player will be able to retrieve either that card or any Magnifistorm card other than Magnifistorming Crothea from the hand or Graveyard and place it in hand. While not confirmed, this may imply some sort of in-universe canonical connection.

The card’s rarity of Prismatic Secret Rare makes it one of the set’s major pickups. In addition, Magnifistorming Crothea is one of the set’s Prismatic Secret Rare cards which depicts a female character; as such, there’s an inherent level of demographical appeal present with this card.

Release Details

The English version of this card will be released on 25 September 2025 alongside the rest of Doom of Dimensions.
