[Pokémon TCG] No Thoughts, Head Empty: Psyduck Master Ball Mirror (Pokémon Card 151 [SV2a] 054/165)
There's no card a Master Ball Mirror print can't elevate.
In the highly popular Pokémon Card 151 [SV2a] set, almost every card came with a special Master Ball Mirror print which had faded images of the Pokémon universe’s most powerful Poké Ball placed across the card. These cards are far rarer and more valuable than their ordinary counterparts. Additionally, no other Pokémon TCG set has cards with a Master Ball Mirror print.
The Master Ball Mirror version of the Psyduck card from Pokémon Card 151 [SV2a] is no different. The Master Ball prints that adorn the card add a degree of prestige and uniqueness to the card while also singling it out as a card of notable value.
The card’s illustration portrays Psyduck facing forward, its signature blank look on its face. The light, almost pastel-like tones used in the imagery depicting the river as well as the area near it give the card a light-hearted tone—apt for a Pokémon that’s perhaps best known as a “comedic relief” character from the first season of the Pokémon anime.
The English version of this card is card 054/165 from the 151 [MEW] set.
Buying a Psyduck Master Ball Mirror (Pokémon Card 151 [SV2a] 054/165) card costs 4,000 JPY (~US$26).
