The Trickstar deck archetype rose to prominence among the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG community following its appearance in Yu-Gi-Oh spinoff anime series Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS when it was used by Skye Zaizen. Since Skye was one of the theme characters of Duelist Pack: Duelists of Brilliance which was based on three different Yu-Gi-Oh anime characters, the inclusion of this card in the set was always expected.

Trickstar Light Stage is among the cards in this set which come in Quarter Century Secret Rare. It directly alludes to the idol persona that Skye takes on when she’s using her “Blue Angel” alias. The card’s illustration also includes four other Trickstar monsters—Trickstar Lilybell, Trickstar Lycoris, Trickstar Candina, and Trickstar Holly Angel.

Given the fact that there are multiple female characters featured on the card, it’ll undoubtedly be sought by many in the Yu-Gi-Oh fandom for obvious reasons. Others, meanwhile, who might have gotten into the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG via Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS might be interested for that reason. Coupled with its high rarity, this card is unquestionably among the set’s leading pulls.

This card’s English release date hasn’t yet been determined.

One copy of a Trickstar Light Stage (Duelist Pack: Duelists of Brilliance DP29-JP049) card has a price tag of 2,500 JPY (~US$16).
