Yu-Gi-Oh TCG Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon

In Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL, a spin-off of the original Yu-Gi-Oh anime series, the card that Barian Emperor Mizar most frequently used was Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon. Due to the fact that Mizar was one of the featured characters of Duelist Pack: Duelists of Brilliance, this card was always expected to be added—and not only that: it’s turned out to be the biggest pull of the set.

There are actually two different versions of Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon in Duelist Pack: Duelists of Brilliance. However, only the alternate art version comes in Quarter Century Secret Rare; the ordinary version is merely a common.

The alternate artwork featured on this card alludes to both its LIGHT attribute as well as its title of the “Dragon of Time”. The halo around the top of its wings refers to its attribute while the sundial in the background is a nod to its title. Even the card’s name refers to both because a tachyon is a hypothetical particle that can travel backward and forward faster than light and through time.

Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon is one of the two cover cards of Duelist Pack: Duelists of Brilliance. It’s the second time that this card has featured on a set’s cover; the first was on that of 2013’s Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy.

This card’s English release date isn’t yet known.

One copy of a Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon (Duelist Pack: Duelists of Brilliance DP29-JP011) card goes for 15,000 JPY (~US$96).
