Following the launch of the Legacy of Destruction Core Booster, Konami has already released details regarding the next Core Booster release of Series 12 of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game (TCG). Infinite Forbidden, the fifth Core Booster in the Series, is largely inspired by Exodia the Forbidden One—among the most iconic characters and cards of the entire franchise because of its “automatic” win condition when it’s completely assembled.

The newest instalment of the Duelist Pack series, an anime-centric Yu-Gi-Oh TCG pack series, is about to be here. Duelist Pack: Duelists of Brilliance will launch in Japan on 25 May 2024 and internationally on 8 June 2024. However, the pack’s international release will only be in Simplified Chinese.

This pack will include cards used by Mizar, a character from the Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL spinoff anime series, as well as those used by Skye Zaizen (also known by the alias “Blue Angel”) from another Yu-Gi-Oh spinoff anime: Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS. The pack will introduce new members and support for the “Trickstar” archetype as well as the TCG’s first-ever support for the “Blue Tears” archetype.

The Japanese version of Duelist Pack: Duelists of Brilliance will include 5 cards per pack at a price of ¥176 (~US$1.16) per pack. A box will contain 15 packs.

The rarity breakdown of the Japanese version’s 53 cards is as follows:

  • 5 Ultra Rares (also available as Secret Rares)
  • 7 Super Rares (also available as Secret Rares)
  • 9 Rares
  • 32 Commons

A total of 7 cards will also be available as Quarter Century Secret Rares.

The Simplified Chinese version, meanwhile, will be sold under the name “Duelist Pack: Duelists of Glory”. The price of each 5-card pack hasn’t yet been finalized; however, it’s known that each box will have 24 packs in it.

The rarity breakdown of the 125 cards in the Simplified Chinese version is as follows:

  • 12 Ultra Rares
  • 14 Super Rares
  • 17 Rares
  • 82 Commons

Of these cards, 30 will be available as Secret Rares and 14 as Quarter Century Secret Rares.
