Yu-Gi-Oh TCG Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon

Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon made multiple notable appearances in the Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL anime. It was first shown after being summoned by the Rank-Up-Magic Barian’s Force card. In the anime, there’d always been an air of mystery about this card given the extremely long duration between its introduction and the actual use of its effect—and for this and other reasons, when included as part of the recently-released Yu-Gi-Oh TCG set Duelist Pack: Duelists of Brilliance, it quickly became a highly coveted card.

For one thing, it’s possible for this card to come in Quarter Century Secret Rare—the rarity level created specifically to honor the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG’s 25th anniversary. In addition, it’s been more than a little while since the last time this card was seen. The most recent iteration of Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon was from Number Complete File -Piece of Memories-, a set which was released more than three years ago.

Additionally, serious Yu-Gi-Oh TCG players might find a place in their decks for this card due to its versatility. It’s one of only two Yu-Gi-Oh TCG cards to belong to 10 different supported archetypes. For this same reason, collectors might also be drawn to it due to this novelty factor.

The card’s effect represents the reversal of time—something to which its name and some of its archetypes allude. It’s even referenced in the anime because when it first activated its Rank-Up effect, the soundtrack was played backwards.

This card’s English release date is yet to be determined.

The price of a Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon (Duelist Pack: Duelists of Brilliance DP29-JP012) card is 2,500 JPY (~US$16).
