Eevee and its eight evolutions have always ranked among the most popular Pokémon. With this in mind, it was an easy decision for Creatures Inc. to put out an Art Rare (AR) Eevee card in the recently-released Crimson Haze [SV5a] Pokémon TCG expansion set. Unsurprisingly, it’s become one of the set’s most coveted cards.

This card’s Full Art illustration features eight Eevee; it’s implied that there’s one for each Eeveelution and that each of the eight will evolve into a different one. The illustration depicts the eight Eevee in a cozy home setting; the art style, gentle color scheme, and overall aesthetic further bring out the card’s overall vibe.

Illustrator Narumi Sato even left clues regarding which Eevee will evolve into which particular Eeveelution. The Eevee sitting in the sunlight alludes to Espeon; the Eevee curled up around the vase, Leafeon; the Eevee under the table, Umbreon; the Eevee playing with the Hydreigon doll; Sylveon, and the Eevee leaning over towards the mug, Vaporeon. It’s details like this which make a card even more desired and valuable.

In English, this card will be card 135/167 of the Twilight Masquerade [TWM] set upon that set’s release.

Somewhat surprisingly, this Eevee (Crimson Haze [SV5a] 078/066) card is relatively inexpensive at a price of 1,000 JPY (~US$6.50).
