Pokémon TCG Vaporeon Master Ball Mirror

One of the eight Eeveelutions, Vaporeon’s appearance in Pokémon Card 151 [SV2a], the Pokémon TCG set designed to give the OG 151 ‘mons a ninth-generation update, came with much fanfare. The Bubble Jet Pokémon is as much a fan favorite today as it was way back in Gen 1 days—as evidenced by the great demand for the Master Ball Mirror of this card.

The card’s Master Ball prints significantly raise its value—the Master Ball Mirror version is not only much rarer than its ordinary one; but the Master Ball itself also holds an iconic place in Pokémon lore as the most powerful Poké Ball. As a result, the background prints infuse this card with something of a premium vibe.

While all Eeveelutions have mass fan appeal, Vaporeon is the most popular of the three original Eeveelutions—in part due to its memetic status (which we will NOT go into any further here). Additionally, the card features an eye-catching illustration featuring Vaporeon underwater, forward-facing with its iconic frill-like neck fin fully open and clearly visible.

To top things off, while it’s not exactly meta, this card is no slouch in gameplay. Fighting Whirlpool deals a decent 90 damage for three Energy cards—but this figure goes up to 180 against Pokémon-ex and Pokémon V.

In English, this card is card 134/165 of the 151 [MEW] set.

The price of a Vaporeon Master Ball Mirror (Pokémon Card 151 [SV2a] 134/165) card is 7,000 JPY (~US$46).
