The Pokémon Company International (TPCi) has announced that throughout June 2024, selected locations will award three new reverse foil promotional Pokémon TCG cards to winners and high-ranking finishers of associated tournaments.

The cards in question are Buddy-Buddy Poffin from Wild Force [SV5K], Super Rod from Snow Hazard [SV2P], and Technical Machine: Evolution from Future Flash [SV4M]. Each promotional edition of these cards will bear the Play! Pokémon watermark on their respective lower halves.

These cards will be awarded as prizes following the conclusion of the official Pokémon TCG season as organized by TPCi. The last tournament of the season will be the North America International Championships (NAIC) to be held from 7-9 June 2024 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Although nothing on this matter has yet been outright confirmed, images shown on PokéBeach appear to imply that these cards will only be made available in English.

While it isn’t yet known when the first of these cards to make their way to the open market will do so or what their price will be, it’s fairly safe to assume that their sale prices will be fairly sizable owing to their exclusivity.
