The New Balance 9060 Reintroduced in Stylish “Black Suede”
Bringing Y2K aesthetics into the contemporary age.
New Balance’s 9060 was first introduced by way of a Joe Freshgoods collaboration last year, and further boosted by partnerships with the likes of Bricks & Wood. From this momentum, it has since crafted its own identity with a consistent slew of inline releases. The latest being this titular “Black Suede” makeup.
Black, Sea Salt, and Brighton Grey form the pair’s palette, addressing its open mesh base layer and its shaggy suede overlays. Tonal renderings are applied over its leather make as well particularly on the “N” panel on the profiles, forefoot, and heel. Lest we forget, the branding elements on the heel tab and tongue too.
As far as its specs, the ABZORB and SBS technologies are used in the contoured pod midsole for cushioning, in addition to the hallmark diamond outsole pattern.
Find them on New Balance’s website from 26 July for US$160. They’re already listed with a specific release at 12 am (EST).
