atmos and New Balance’s collaborative relationship continues to bear fruits even as we enter the colder seasons. As revealed by atmos’ Creative Director Hirofumi Kojima on his Instagram, a 2002R is coming soon and is distinctively named “OASIS”.

Contrasting their previous link up which was inspired by neon city lights, this atmos x New Balance M2002RAM OASIS is imbued with the concept of a natural dessert with silvers of water. Layered atop the 2002R’s usual white mesh is a hairy olive suede at the mudguard. This earthy green shade is utilised on the leather overlay that cuts from the heel to the mid panel. These spots of green, likely a representation of cactuses, are complemented by shades of brown around the N logo. The tongue, too, carries a tan leather. Alongside these neutral shades, the pops of turquoise on the N logo and heel midsole thus acts the “OASIS” — the glittering waters that stand out against the dry sand.

No official release dates have landed aside from Kojima’s word that it is coming soon. In the meantime, why not check out all the pictures of this atmos x New Balance M2002RAM OASIS that has been made available?
