[Update 2 Apr 2024] More images from the Imran Potato x Vans Knu Skool MTE Pack have surfaced, courtesy of @nicekicks—this time, of the “Black” colorway. The collection is slated to drop on 3 April 2024.

The black pair is the more exclusive one of the duo, only being made available via ImranPotato.com, while its navy counterpart will see a drop there as well as on OTW.Vans.com. Get a look at the new images in the gallery above!

[Update 14 Feb 2024] First official look at the Imran Potato x Vans Knu Skool MTE-1 LX in its Navy and Blue colorway is here! The collab, courtesy of the New Jersey native designer, pushes the silhouette’s boundaries in exciting ways.

Imran Potato is one of those industry outliers. His irreverent design approach adored by the same fashion-forward crowd that he’s seemingly making fun of. He doesn’t take himself too seriously, and it shows as much on his shoes. Perhaps none exemplifies this eccentricity quite like his Crocs “Caveman Slides”.

As bewildering as they are, he’s returning to the fore of public attention with the followup to his less bemusing Vans project last year. Although the collection has featured the Knu Skool, the rumor mill purports that more colorways are arriving.

The image from @ovrnundr.io is the only Rosetta stone we have but therein sees at least four pairs in the mix: One in a monochromatic black; another in a singular off-white; one more in a tonal blue dressing; followed by a camouflage green; and the last being the standard black bodied with white profiles—seen as well in last year’s release.

There isn’t much information to discern beyond what’s already depicted but stay tuned for updates! When we find out anything new, so will you—at this very page.

While waiting, check out the Nike Air Griffey Max 2 “Light Bone”.
