Imran Moosvi, better known by his Imran Potato, has come a long way in a short amount of time. His call to fame began in 2016 when he started creating bootleg versions of luxury brands, often imagining collaborations that fans can only dream of. His work was quickly recognised by the industry’s elite as well, with popular celebrities such as Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish and Travis Scott among the many who has since adorned Moosvi’s inventions publicly.

In 2021, the DIY guru created another viral sensation—the unorthodox Caveman Slippers, modelled after human feet. As frightening and grotesque as they are, the Caveman Slippers are perfectly in-line with Moosvi’s sense of humor and previous work.

Fast forward two years, it seems like the infamous human-like slippers are making a comeback, but this time as an official collaboration with the ever-so-quirky Crocs.

Through @hypeneverdies_ on Instagram as well as a post on Crocs’ subreddit, we get to take a look at what seems to be an early leak of the upcoming project. Similar to the original design of the Caveman Slippers, it seems like Crocs’ take on them will also feature a silhouette of human-like feet, although the color scheme has been adjusted to a much more digestible palette, with an all-clad white, grey and black versions seen in the post.

It seems like the “POTATO” branding on the outsole underfoot has also been replicated on the Crocs iteration, coupled with a “caveman” branding found on the foam slides’ packaging.

Hate it or love it, it does indeed seem like this upcoming Imran Potato x Crocs “Caveman Slides” is happening. While release details are scanty at the moment, you can take an early gander at the intriguing pair above as we await more official news from the duo.
