JJJJound’s name has proliferated across fashion news sites and blogs in recent years, having partnered with some of the biggest names in the lifestyle space. Almost one year removed from his collaborative ASICS Gel-Kayano 14, its maker releases an inline design reminiscent of the aforementioned designer’s take on it.

Since the collaboration, demand for a similar alternative has been overwhelming ASICS. The titular pair features the hallmarks that’s made it so sought after. It’s the ne plus ultra of the dad shoe, evident through its overdesigned aesthetic.

White mesh serves as the base layer with the synthetic overlays dressed in metallic silver and black. It features a metallic purple sheen coming into the heel of the shoe. The aggressive Gel midsoles are a mainstay of course, accented by black too, albeit more so towards the rear.

A release date hasn’t been announced but they’re expected to go for US$150. Stay tuned! More details should emerge within the coming weeks—or months.
