For their third collaborative effort, London-based running club Run The Boroughs will take on the Bostonian shoemaker’s classic 576, which debuted in 1988 as one of the final of the classic “big N” shapes. It was initially made to endure anything a runner could throw at it when it was created as an all-terrain runner. And in order to accommodate the additional mileage, it has come with a wider fit and a roomier toe box.

The Run the Boroughs x New Balance 576 features a green and grey color design, drawing inspiration from the city’s blend of greenery and concrete. Mesh and suede accents on the upper pay homage to the shoe’s beginnings as a performance-running design. The pair’s tongue, which also sports RTB’s cloud-like mascot, bears the faded grey appearance of concrete jungle. Additionally, the partnership includes removable style patches that let wearers show off their preferred borough (North, South, East, or West).

Not much has been disclosed about the pair by either parties but they’re scheduled for release on 20 April on New Balance’s website.
