New Balance has unveiled a new version of the hoops sneakers dressed in vintage “Pine Green” as part of its ongoing expansion of the 550s. The Boston-based company has a ton of green 550s available, but this pair stands out because of the suede embellishments on the collar.

Right off the bat, this latest iteration imitates its older sibling “Vintage Indigo”. Retro-inspired uppers include a creamy blend of smooth and perforated leather, with dark green accents placed on the lateral “N” emblems, 550 notations, and an unexpected suede collar overlays. The tongue tabs feature traditional basketball symbols, while the heel counter features the NB monogram. White midsoles and two-tone rubber outsoles complete the appearance.

Expect the New Balance 550 “Pine Green” to release in the upcoming weeks for US$120. Enjoy the official photos’ finer features while you wait.
