Jordan Brand loves the elephant print, and so do the sneaker cognoscenti. A classic on the Air Jordan 3, the “Cement” colorway has been a hallmark for the Jumpman for decades. With the OG “White Cement Reimagined” already slated for a return this year, it seems like another legendary design, the “Black Cement”, will join its sibling—but on the Air Jordan 1 Low.

The upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Black Cement” draws inspiration from the 1988 Air Jordan 3 design, save for the lack of red. This offering sees the uppers dressed in a smooth black leather, while the iconic Swoosh logo is painted in a cool white hue that pops from its darker counterparts.

Accentuating the sneaker is its infamous elephant print, found printed all over the overlays, eyestays and heel. Black Jumpman branding adorns the heel and inner lining, while a lighter shade of muslin washes over the tongue tab and insole branding.

Completing the design is a sail midsole, giving the sneaker a vintage look that bodes in well with the Jordan Brand’s latest offferings.

If you’re excited about this release, look forward to 23rd June when its slated to drop on Nike SNKRS and select retailers, at a price point of US$140. For now, take a detailed look at the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Black Cement” via the top slider above, courtesy of SBD.
