It’s barely been a week since we received official confirmation that the Nike SB Dunk Low “Grey Gum” was set to release. But it seems like Nike SB is not letting up with its Orange Label production line, with another being primed and ready to hit the halfpipes.
This next SB Dunk Low offering will also carry the Orange Label, a commitment from Nike SB to help nurture and grow local skate communities. Dubbed as the “Purple Suede”, this Dunk Low will soon find its way to select skate shops where they will release them exclusively.
The Nike SB Dunk Low “Purple Suede”, as the name suggests, carries a rich purple suede dressing across its uppers’ overlays and Swoosh logo. A clean white leather base runs throughout the mid panel, toe box, mid sole and collar, while the iconic Orange Label branding is visible on the tongue tab and insole.
Rounding off its design is a gum colored rubber outsole, a staple for most Orange Label productions. Lest we forget, of course the tongue arrives in its traditional padded “fat” tongue, providing additional comfort and grip for skaters.
While we sit tight for more release details, we expect the Nike SB Dunk Low “Purple Suede” to release exclusively at select skate shops for a retail of US$110. For now, enjoy an early look at the upcoming pair courtesy of @masterchefian.
