[Update 14 Mar 2023] The rumor mill originally had the release date scheduled sometime in the Holiday season. That “sometime” now points specifically to 18 October. Anything can change from now ’til then but should anything do, expect an update at this very page. Mark that calendar anyway!

[Update 10 Feb 2023] Some new images of the “Satin Bred” AJ1 have surfaced. There’s no word from the Jumpman nor the Swoosh to ascertain whether like its predecessor, only 501 pairs will be produced. Nevertheless, the women’s exclusive will come in full-family sizing.

he adult pair will sell for US$180, PS for US$85, and TD for US$70. No change to the December release date but should it, expect an update right here at this very page.

LINEJordan collectors, get ready to dig deeper into your wallets. Already locked and loaded to bring back the Air Jordan 1 High “Black Toe” and the Air Jordan 3 “White Cement” as part of their “Reimagined” series, it certainly seems like the Jumpman Brand is taking no chances when it comes to reviving legendary retro designs this year.

Reportedly joining the star-studded lineup this Holiday season is the Nike Air Jordan 1 High “Satin Bred”. First released back in 2016, it was near impossible to get them. Only 501 pairs were ever produced and dropped exclusively at a pop-up store in New York City.

At the moment, release details are scanty at best. But two things are certain—this silhouette will feature the signature Bred color palette of black, red and white in its traditional color blocking scheme, and it will come dressed in a full satin upper.

According to @zSneakerHeadz and @sneakerfiles, there is a possibility that the embroidered Jumpman Wings logo might be replaced with a new version, and the outsole might also be switched from red to black. Other than that, the rest of the design should largely resemble that of its 2016 predecessor pictured above. Similar to other recent satin remakes like the Air Jordan 1 High “Satin Black Toe”, this offering is also expected to be a womens’ exclusive.

While we wait for official news and images to emerge, you can re-visit the 2016 Air Jordan 1 “Satin Bred” via the top slider above. Expect it to release sometime in the Holiday 2023 season. Stay tuned as we’ll bring you the latest as soon as we get them.
