Small family-run Japanese label, The Network Business is set to drop an apparel collection inspired by the upcoming Nike Air Jordan 1 “Lost & Found”. It’s the streetwear brand’s modus operandi to create garbs with graphics drawing from a specific shoe. Case in point: their most recent release was a two-pack capsule of hoodies inspired by LeBron James’ Nike Dunk Low “Fruity Pebbles”.

With arguably the year’s biggest sneaker release imminent, TNB knows best to strike while the iron is hot. The collection features the usual suspects of hoodies; sweatpants; t-shirts, long-sleeved and short; along with a MA-1 bomber jacket. There’re no accessories yet pictured but the brand usually does have an offering of caps and socks in that department.

The color palette throughout the collection befittingly takes on the classic “Chicago” colorway, save for the grey hoodie. The motifs include graphics designed in the tradition of old Japanese art, and reworked images of Michael Jordan’s most iconic moments. Branding elements are scattered throughout the pieces, finding placements even in the most unconventional spaces like the head of the hoodie, or inconspicuous space below the waistband.

Per their signature, TNB amalgamates their subjects’ logos with their own birthing an uncanny, new artwork that carries both familiarity and novelty. Taking on the Jordan Wings, they replace the basketball centerpiece with their signature Globe Vector branding. The result is impossible to miss when it’s emblazoned all over the pieces, especially on the large embroidery in the bomber jackets.

The collection is scheduled to drop on 19 November to coincide with the release of the titular pair. Prices will range from ¥15,400 (US$110) to ¥25,300 (US$180). Find them then on their own official web store and on atmos. The only thing standing between you and the collection is the speed of your fingers. Their pieces sell out pretty quickly.

Elsewhere in Japan, check out the adidas Originals x atmos “SST Daiki Tsuneta”, a Superstar collaboration with an actual superstar.
