[Update 5 Sep 2023] The Awake NY x Jordan Air Ship is relatively far from its arrival date but if it’s any consolation, at least there’s an end in sight.

For now, the collaborative pair is expected to hit shelves on 21 February 2024, earlier than the projected March/April. Considering that it’s almost two whole seasons away, anything can change. When they do, expect an update here at this very page!

[Update 7 Aug 2023] For those looking forward to the Awake NY x Jordan Air Ship collaboration, there’s some good news. While a concrete release date has not yet been announced, @le.syndrome has revealed that it might make its grand arrival somewhere between March and April of 2024. Not too long left for one of the more coveted collaborations, so stay tuned!

Before the Nike Air Jordan 1 was released, Michael Jordan wore these shoes on court in the interim. That narrative alone has boosted the Air Ship’s reputation quite a bit prior to its return. Expect to see more of it moving forward with more collaborators taking on the pair, such as this one with Angelo Baque’s Awake NY imprint.

The right and left pairs feature mismatched Gym Red and Game Royal accents on their leather uppers. Based on the limited view the singular image offers, the design is also adorned by metallic silver Swooshes; to go with the the “A” logo from Awake NY, a pre-aged midsole, and a semi-translucent outsole. The shoes are expected be housed in a specially designed shoebox, along with a Jumpman hangtag.

Find them on Awake NY’s webstore when D-Day comes, although neither parties have offered any word on when that is. But stay tuned! More details should emerge within the coming weeks.
