Following news about the release of the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 4, Jordan Brand has confirmed yet another A Ma Maniére collaboration, this time on the Air Jordan 12 silhouette. In the case of the new Air Jordan 12 “Burgundy Crush”, it appears to be releasing in two colourways in ladies-exclusive sizing (according to @zSneakeheadz, at least).

A Ma Maniére, a luxury boutique born in Atlanta, produces designs inspired by Parisian culture and fashion. Even their name itself is in French, translating to “My Way”. Since their conception, they’ve aimed to be a forward-thinking brand that produces new trends in luxury fashion, streetwear and footwear, and this vision shows up in their newest Jordan collaboration.

Based on mock-ups, the colourways and makeup of the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 12 is as luxurious as can be: premium materials adorn the entire shoe, from suede on the upper, to a snakeskin-style leather at the toebox and matte rubber across the sole unit.

Two colourways are expected – a Black/”Burgundy Crush”, and a White/”Burgundy Crush”. The Black/”Burgundy Crush” colourway is a tasteful mix of Black, Off-Noir and two shades of Air Jordan’s dark maroon “Burgundy Crush”. Meanwhile, the White/”Burgundy Crush” colourway mixes shades of Off-White, “Burgundy Crush” and shiny Gold to create a brighter aesthetic. The premium materials, contrasting textures and colour schemes all come together to create an aura of grandeur and luxury about the design.

Other unique features include the unique Jumpman branding. Rather than having the typical Jordan Jumpman logo, a leather patch is stitched just above the midsole with “JUMPMAN” imprinted in plain text. Though one would expect the removal of iconic branding to take away from the design, it instead adds to the ‘premium’ style.
