Nike’s Dunk Lows have served as a canvas for a multitude of designs as of late, from collaborative efforts that saw the shoe take on a patchwork of villainous characters to airbrushed effects in loud orange. However, it is undeniable that simple colour blocking remains the most popular iteration of the Nike Dunk Low, evidenced by the many feet on the streets that have been spotted in “Panda” and “University Blue” (or commonly known as UNC).

Building on the hype of this popular University of North Carolina shade of blue, Nike is slated to release a Dunk Low that inverts the usual appearance of this colorway. Instead of a white base, the standard leather upper in this edition takes on the UNC blue, as do the heels, lining, tongue and outsole.

The white becomes a contrasting accent, appearing on the Swoosh, midsole, laces and overlays. Navy blue is utilised on prominent Nike branding spots, such as the tongue, heels and the insole.

For now, the Nike Dunk Low Reverse UNC is rumored to make an appearance later this year and in women’s sizing. It will retail at USD$100. Men looking to cop can consider referring to Nike’s sizing comparison chart to find their perfect fit.
