Nike Dunk was born in 1985, the same year as the Air Jordan 1 was, and debuted through advertising with “college basketball” in the United States. Although it was born as a basketball shoe, it became popular among skaters because of its outstanding durability and simple design and now its immense popularity that is indispensable in the street scene.

This time, Nike Dunk has a new color, “Midas Gold”. The upper is a yellow base with a red overlay, that combination reminiscent of the college colors of the University of Southern California. The college is famous of college athletics. Maybe somebody call the new shoes is “Trojans” as same as name of USC athletics.
