1. About Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990V3 Outside Clothes

New Balance 990v3 and Chicago-based designer Joe Freshgoods are collaborating on a pair of shoes called “Outside Clothes”, which will be released on September 10th!

Joe Fresh Goods is a designer and creative director from Chicago who has made a splash with his unusual brand collaborations with 7-Eleven and McDonald’s in the past.
Joe Fresh Goods is particularly popular for its streetwear that blends the brand’s story, historical and cultural elements, and this is the second time they have collaborated on a model, the last one being the 992 “No Emotions Are Emotions” released last year in 2020. “No Emotions Are Emotions” was released last year in 2020.
The base of this collaboration model is the 990v3, which was introduced in 2012 as the third generation of the 990, a typical Made in U.S.A. model.

This model features a beautiful color contrast between the blue mesh base and the brown and sand beige suede overlay.
The “N” logo in aqua blue and the light green on the top eyelet and lower heel are eye-catching.
The heel is embroidered with Freshgoods in writing to symbolize the collaboration.
The ENCAP midsole is made up of brown, blue and tan. The midsole is made up of brown, blue, and tan. Although it uses multiple colors, the tone is calm, giving this pair a mature and playful feel.
