[Update 12 Apr 2023] Official images of the “Palomino” Dunk High have arrived offering a detailed look at its clean finish and color-blocking. A release date should surface soon with the emergence of this set of photos. When word reaches us, we’ll get them to you.

While there’s still a lot of time before the Nike Air Jordan 1 “Palomino” touches down on store shelves, Nike has wasted no time in producing another iteration of the colorway—this time, on the Nike Dunk High.

Loosely inspired by the genetic color found on horses, the Nike Dunk High “Palomino” looks to be a more faithful interpretation of the elegant beasts’ coating.

Through an early look by resident leaker @masterchefian, this upcoming Dunk High offering doesn’t stray too far from its traditional construction. Built with a full leather upper, a clean white is used on the base all throughout the toe box, mid panel and ankle collar.

Palomino-inspired brown, though it has to be noted it does look a shade darker than on the Air Jordan 1 version, takes on the overlays, mesh tongue, lining, laces and outsole underfoot.

If you look at the pair from a far-enough distance, they might just pass off as a pair of “Pandas”, hate it or love it. Nonetheless, the Nike Dunk High “Palomino” is set to debut in the coming months at a RRP of US$125.
