[Update 7 Feb 2023] Of the two colorways mentioned in this article, the lighter off-white pair is confirmed to release on 16th February on Nike’s webstore. While there’s still no news on the red pair, we can look forward to the release of its sibling that’s coming up real soon. Stay tuned for more information!
2023 seems to be the year of collections for Nike. Although not officially curated into a pack as we’re used to, many silhouettes with the same colors/themes/motifs have recently emerged. Examples are the numerous Georgetown-themed models, the cherry-induced Valentine’s Day shoes, the vintage Athletic Company division to name a few.
Adding on, Nike is complementing the Air Force 1 Low “Just Do It” with two women’s exclusive Dunk Lows, one that comes in a sail and white colorway and the other in a team red and white outfit. Both Dunk Lows feature the same construction and details, save for its different color offerings.
The red pair largely looks similar to the Dunk Low “Team Red”, another recent addition to the Dunk Low’s ever-expanding arsenal. However, the “Just Do It” pair sees its traditional leather construction swapped out for a cross-hatch texture finish. A clean sail base supplements the deep burgundy hue on the base of its uppers.
The latter Dunk Low offering flips the colors of the earlier pair, adorning the overlays with creamy off-white while a more sterile white washes over the base of the upper. The team red is instead used on the collar and inner lining of the shoe and tongue branding.
The standout feature of these dunks comes in the form of its gilded embellishments. A big gold medal-like dubrae sits at the vamp of the shoe with Nike’s logo engraved on it. A regal gold “Just Do It” insignia is stamped around the heel of the silhouette, coupled with five gold stars and 2023 spelt out in Roman numerals. A similar motif is imprinted on the insoles as well.
Expect both iterations of the Nike Dunk Low “Just Do It” to arrive in the coming months, at a retail price of US$120. For now, enjoy an official look at both colorways via the top slider above and stay tuned as we’ll update this post as soon as we can.
