Not too long after New Balance released the “Team Royal” at the tail end of 2022, the Boston-based shoemakers are once again utilizing the popular blue colorway as part of their next 550 release.

The New Balance 550 “Sea Salt Team Royal” at first glance gives off a vintage vibe, painting the majority of its uppers in a cool sail palette that gives rise to the name of the colorway. The construction of the sneaker doesn’t stray too far from its counterparts with a mix of mesh and leather, however a tinge of suede is added around its collar that chimes in well with its classy look.

Accentuating it’s cream base is the titular “Team Royal” blue on its iconic “N” logo as well as the 550, tongue tab, liner and parts of the outsole underfoot. To round off its design, an addition of jet black is added to the collar as well as the branding on the heel tab.

The New Balance 550 “Sea Salt Team Royal” will soon make its way to retailers in the coming months at a retail price of US$120. Check out official photos of the pair via the top slider above while we sit tight on further release details.
