Following two successful seasons, Teddy Santis is set to debut his third New Balance MADE in USA collection. On top of the recently-spotted New Balance 996 “Navy”, the New Balance head honcho is turning his attention to the New Balance 990v4 silhouette.

According to images from sneaker site Up To Date, the 2016 lifestyle model from the Boston house will return in a grey-and-navy colorway that could be termed as classic New Balance.

This New Balance 990v4 “Gray” is constructed in a mix of mesh, suede and leather. Atop a cream-colored mesh upper, two layers of overlays—each featuring grey suede and navy leather—wrap around the shoe. Down below, the midsole sees the return of New Balance’s ENCAP cushioning; while the outsole features Ndurance rubber.

As expected, New Balance branding is found on the profile “N” logos, as well as on the metal tongue label and khaki heel. The titular “990” name is debossed onto the shaggy-hair suede around the heel area.

This pair of New Balance 990v4 “Navy” is expected to be priced at US$200 and will be released as part of the New Balance MADE in USA lineup. Stay tuned for more updates on its release.
