The Air Foamposite One seems to be back on the menu for Nike in 2023. Shortly after news that a “Red Metallic” colorway is set to release somewhere in Summer this year, the Swoosh brand will now reportedly follow it up with one of the silhouette’s rarest colorways—the Penny Hardaway PE.

Being a PE, acronym for Player Exclusive, this shoe was originally debuted by Penny Hardaway himself in 1997. The color scheme pays tribute to the Orlando Magic’s home jersey back in that NBA season, drawing on a palette of white, black and a slight tinge of blue. Consisting of a white Foamposite shell and black leather upper, the Penny Hardaway PE sits on a translucent blue outsole and also features Hardaway’s signature “1 Cent” logo on the heel in white and blue.

You can expect the Nike Air Foamposite One “Penny PE” to hit Nike and select retailers on 7th February 2023 at a retail price of US$240. Follow along as we bring you more release updates and photos.
