We’re about more than a month past Halloween but that does not mean the spooky vibes ends there. European retailer size? has decided to end the year with another addition to their ‘?exclusive’ line with a collaboration with Vans. Taking on the theme of “Haunted Hotel”, the duo pays tribute to two spooky hotels in reality and fiction through the Authentic and Old Skool models.

With the Authentic “Haunted Hotel”, it represents Los Angeles’ Hotel Cecil, a hotel known for many strange on-goings throughout the decades. Patterns found on the red textile uppers references art deco found in the building and tassel laces adds a subtle touch to details. Decoration of chessboard prints finishes the look on the equipped outsole.

On the Old Skool “Haunted Hotel”, a reference to Outlook Hotel Room 237’s carpet from the movie “The Shining” was made through similar patterned construction on the uppers. Overlayed with suede panels, an icy outlook was added with a translucent rubber outsole.

With an official release date of 15th December, the size? x Vans Authentic and Old Skool “Haunted Hotel” pack is now available exclusively via size? for £85 and £90 (~US$105 and US$110) respectively.
