Union Tokyo has had little opportunity to create collaborative sneakers of their own, in contrast to their LA-based counterpart who has created multiple releases with Jordan Brand and Nike. The storefront has, however, maintained a longstanding relationship with Converse’s own Japanese outpost, and together they’re about to release an understated take on the CX-Pro SK OX.

One of their newest additions, the CX-Pro SK OX, takes design cues from the considerably older CX PRO 250. Light gray suedes and white Star Chevron emblems, toe caps, laces, and midsoles combine in this subtle colorway by Union Tokyo to adorn the aforementioned sneaker. The distinctive cadmium yellow accents completes the shoe, emerges by way of a combination of the outsole, the “UN/LA” tag, and the extra laces.

The Union Tokyo x Converse Skateboarding CX-Pro SK OX is Japan-exclusive and is set to release on 8 October. It’s presently scheduled to go on sale through Union Tokyo’s brick and click.
