VICTORIA x Vans Looks Into Traditions With Skate Half Cab
An urban jungle representative.
Founded in 2015, Hong Kong-based label VICTORIA incorporates elements from their local traditions into modern designs through new and contemporary ways. With roots originated from skateboarding, music and art, VICTORIA has joined forces with none other than Vans, a brand of a similar background for an upcoming collaboration release.
Partnering up for a Vans Skate Half Cab, the sneaker sees a black suede upper, with panels of illustrated banyan trees roots, widely found in playgrounds and skate parks in the city. Accentuated with orange co-branded logo patches on the sides, the classic heel plates and outsoles are also dipped in a orange rubber material.
Referencing to the shuttlecock culture, campaign images also shows a fun take by the duo with the Kau U Fong Jianzi Team playing the sports in the sneaker.
Set to release on 12th November, the VICTORIA x Vans Skate Half Cab will be made available via VICTORIA and Vans Hong Kong.
