The short-lived rarity of Amazing Rare (A) was only around for two early Gen 8 sets: Legendary Heartbeat [S3a] and Shiny Star V [S4a]; only nine cards of this rarity were ever released, making them highly coveted by many Pokémon TCG collectors today. One such card is the Jirachi card form Legendary Heartbeat [S3a].

About Jirachi (Legendary Heartbeat [S3a] 050/076)

As is the case with all other cards of the A rarity, the card’s illustration features a multicolored background extending beyond the borders of the illustration’s frame. Much of this card’s appeal lies in the fact that so few cards of its rarity were ever released, allowing it and its peers to occupy a unique spot in Pokémon TCG history.

Each of the nine Pokémon depicted on an A card was a Mythical or Legendary Pokémon representing one of the nine Energy types of the Pokémon TCG; six were in Legendary Heartbeat [S3a] and three were in Shiny Star V [S4a]. For that reason, completionists might go after this card in hopes of completing the entire group.
