Four years after opening its doors in Tokyo, Union is now expanding its physical portfolio to the charming city of Osaka. And what better way to celebrate it than a collaborative capsule with Osaka-native Verdy? Specifically, with his label Wasted Youth, which was based off the artist’s high school days and is heavily inspired by youth skateboarding culture.

This apparel collection will feature a co-branded logo that distinctively embodies both brands’ core elements. Union’s Frontman logo, which was brought back by the tide of retro-naissance, is sandwiched between Wasted Youth’s branding up top and Union scribbled in the same bubbly style down below. This graphic is printed atop pale blue tees and the quintessential gray hoodies.

Verdy himself comments that he designed the capsule based on the feelings he had while living in vibrant Osaka. Aptly, the lookbook for this collaboration was shot in Osaka with Wasted Youth riders Issei Mori and Ren Suematsu.
