Images of a tripartite collaboration of a 2002R GORE-TEX surfaced about a month ago. While nothing else has travelled through the grapevine regarding it, the three parties involved, Taiwan-based select shop INVINCIBLE, N.HOOLYWOOD and New Balance come together again as part of the first’s 15th anniversary celebration.

The project dubbed “Grey Swan”, pays homage to New Balance’s legacy grey and sees a combination of creative works between N.HOOLYWOOD and INVINCIBLE. This time, the trio has put their take on the 1906R, a silhouette that is on the rise of being one of New Balance’s most popular lifestyle models.

While keeping the sporty aesthetics, the upper is constructed with different textures consisting of mesh, leather, waffle knit, nylon and suede, which adds a deconstructed look to the sneaker. Equipping a daisy chain structured loop allows the shoe tongue to stay in place, putting you at ease while you walk. To give the shoe its identity, ‘1906R’ is embroidered on the toe box and a orange heel pull tab adds a little pop of color to the monochromatic palette. Lastly, comfort is not compromised as the sole features a N-ergy cushion technology, providing protection to your daily routines.

Retailing at NTD$5680 (≈US$185), the INVINCIBLE x N.HOOLYWOOD x New Balance 1906R “Shadow Grey” will be available via raffle from 30th September, 9AM (EST) to 5th October, 12AM on INVINCIBLE. Winners will be notified by 8th October.
