The Japanese has always been well known for their craftsmanship, taking pride in what they create and treasuring the time spent on the process. With that in mind, New Balance Athletics approached Hitoshi Mimura, who then became the exclusive advisor of the label, announcing a contract with M.Lab. Since then, New Balance has worked with Hitoshi Mimura to produce products for top athletes and high-quality shoes for runners around the globe.

This time, the duo has partnered up for their modern take on footwear, with using the running/lifestyle fusion ‘327’ as the base model. Crafted with high-quality Tochigi leather on the upper, it provides the best of comfort with a retro aesthetic. Lastly, a unique shade of beige wraps around the sneaker which is known to darken as it ages with time.

Retailing for JPY71,500 (~US$495), the M.Lab x New Balance 327 “Made In Japan” is set to release on 15th October through a raffle draw starting 7th October until 11th October.
